Saved Coach threads
Write to Ojava Coach and keep the reply in a persistent thread grounded in the record you choose to share.
How it works
Saved Coach threads is a simple place to write what is on your mind about your health and get an answer back. Unlike a quick chat that disappears when you leave, each message starts a thread that stays saved, so you can come back to it later and pick up where you left off. Open a thread from the list on the left, or start a new message any time.
Today the reply comes from Ojava Coach, the AI assistant, right away. It reads your accepted records (with consent) so its answer is grounded in your own labs, wearables, trends, and history, not generic advice. It is here to explain your results, surface trends across your record, and help you get ready for your next visit.
When you ask Ojava Coach for a message handoff, it can summarize saved Coach threads into a local review packet: recent user-written topics, AI reply counts, safety replies, open turns, and questions to verify with your clinician. The packet is for you to review or bring into a visit. It does not send the packet, create a provider inbox, promise a clinician response, or imply a clinician has reviewed the thread.
Reports can include the same handoff in its visit-prep packet export when clinical-context consent is active. That keeps message history next to visit-prep records, care-plan context, document metadata, and open questions in one local text file you can review before deciding what to share.
Reliable sending
Each message carries a private retry id, so if your browser loses the response and tries again, Ojava can return the already-saved turn instead of creating a duplicate thread. Replies are linked to the exact message they answer, which keeps a conversation understandable even when the network is unreliable.
Who replies
Replies come from Ojava Coach, not a human clinician. Ojava does not provide clinician messaging, create a provider inbox, or imply that a clinician has read or reviewed a thread.
Safety comes first, before the model
Before Ojava Coach answers, the same deterministic safety check the chat uses scans your message for signs of an emergency or a mental-health crisis. If it sees unambiguous self-harm language or an emergency symptom, it returns a fixed message pointing you to 911 or the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline and does not run the model on it. A standing reminder to seek in-person care for urgent symptoms sits above every message box.
Boundaries
Saved Coach threads stays in the same general-wellness lane as the rest of Ojava. Replies explain and prepare; they do not diagnose, prescribe, set doses, order labs, or tell you a result is safe. Confident lifestyle guidance (training, recovery, sleep, stress, and nutrition habits) is welcome; clinical decisions stay with your clinician.
