Setting it up is a photograph and a permission, not a project. After that the work is invisible: things arrive, get read, wait for you, and become numbers you can ask about in a sentence.

Ojava is a general wellness product. It reads your own data, explains what a number generally means, shows how yours has moved, and helps you write down questions before an appointment. That boundary is not a limitation we are working around. It is the design, and it is the reason the product can be honest about what it knows.

A fitness product that will not diagnose you needs to be clear about what it does instead. These are the questions that decide whether it is worth your time.
Is this medical advice?
No. Ojava is a general wellness product. It logs what you eat and train, explains what a number generally measures, shows how yours has moved, and helps you write down questions before an appointment. It does not diagnose, prescribe, dose, treat, or order tests, and no plan changes that.
How accurate is a photograph of a plate?
Good enough to be useful and never presented as more than that. The scan estimates the food and the portion, both stay editable, and the day is built from what you confirmed rather than from what the model guessed. A corrected portion is remembered for next time.
Do I need a wearable for this to be useful?
No. Food and weigh-ins work on their own, and the free plan runs without any device at all. A wearable adds the sleep and load lanes, which is what puts a short week next to a light training week on the same axis.
Does the coach make numbers up?
It is not allowed to. Every figure it quotes was computed in code first: your calories, your protein, your sleep debt, your training load. The model reads those finished values and puts them into words. Where a value is missing it says so rather than estimating around the gap.
What if I miss a few days?
Nothing breaks and nothing is invented to fill the hole. The gap stays visible on the chart, averages are taken over the days you actually logged, and the streak picks up where you left it.
Where does my data go?
It stays in your own account, readable only by you. Records are never used to train a model. Meal photographs are the single exception, used to improve food recognition, and that exception is stated in the privacy policy rather than buried in it. There is no ad tracking anywhere in the product.
Can I get everything back out, or delete it?
Yes, on every plan including the free one. Export produces a readable file of what you logged and what was derived from it. Deletion removes the record rather than hiding it, and disconnecting a device stops the sync at the same time.
Will it tell me what to eat?
It will tell you where your day landed against your own targets and where protein usually falls short, which is coaching. It will not treat a condition, put you on a medical diet, or manage a diagnosis. Those belong with a clinician, and it will say so.
